Tungsten Ring Pricing
Let’s talk about tungsten ring pricing. We get many inquiries as to the price of our rings over the price of other sites, namely eBay and Overstock. The majority of both sites are flooded with overseas manufacturing and retailers. We cannot compete with the prices of these vendors as the level of quality with these companies is low. To sell a tungsten ring for mere dollars the materials used are not only low quality but most likely a different metal or composition. The Forever Metals brand refuses to down grade our quality to lower our price point. A wedding band is meant to worn for a lifetime and it should remain beauty for that same amount of time. Forever Metals also offers a lifetime warranty at no additional charge in case the ring you are wearing looks less than beautiful years down the road. The Overseas vendors will not offer this level of customer service nor will they be under the original name years later. Here is a breakdown of our tungsten metal quality. This is the same quality we have been adhering to for over 10 years.
Tungsten Metal:
Forever Metals uses a composition break down of 84% pure tungsten and a 16% composition of nickel and carbon (carbide). We use this exact blend to ensure maximum durability. If we used pure tungsten, the ring would be extremely brittle and crack almost like glass. Our nickel binder is also superior as it is hypo allergenic and will not oxidize. Most companies that sell rings for a low price use a cobalt binder. Cobalt reacts with the skin quickly causing the ring to stain and turn rough in appearance. We have found that our composition is the perfect blend to creating a durable, attractive ring.
Choose companies with a reputation behind them. Ebay is a place to get great deals however you can never trust the quality you will be receiving. Look for companies with great reviews, a warranty and some kind of return/exchange policy in case you find that the ring you ordered isn’t a good match.
