WEDDING RING
SIZES

|
|
The most accurate way of measuring your ring size is
by visiting a few reputable jewelers in your area. Jewelers use
graduated rings at whole, half, and quarter ring sizes to
measure the diameter of your ring finger.

|
Many have found that trying on wedding
bands in different widths is the easiest way to
determine their exact ring size. Another way of measuring your
ring size is to order a complimentary plastic ring sizer over
the internet. Many of the larger jewelers offer complimentary
ring sizers. Both of those options may take time, and for an
immediate answer you can download and print the paper
ring sizers below or the picture above. Simply print
and follow the instructions for immediate results.
|
| |
ABOVE PICTURE: Make sure that
your printer is set to 100% photo print not reducing the print
size in any way. You can verify that the sizer printed correctly
by measuring it with a ruler; it should measure from left to
right: 3 3/8 inches. Once you have printed the sizer, you may
cut it out and use it or try the following directions to find
your ring size:
1) Wrap a piece of loose string around your finger. Be sure to
allow for the size of your knuckle.
2) With a pen, mark the point on the string where the end meets.
3) Using the chart, place the end of the string on the left hand
line next to the letter "A" and stretch the string along the
sizer toward the numbers.
4) The pen mark on your string should line up with a number to
indicate your ring size.

| Forever Metals stocks whole and half
sizes only ideally sizing a comfortable fit, tight
enough to prevent the ring from accidentally falling off. If you
have oddly shaped thick knuckles with skinny fingers, you may be
interested in ordering a custom size 1/4 or 3/4 fit. |
 |
Forever Metals recommends for fitting rings, be
sure that the pertaining ring size is a comfortable fit
for the particular width you are interested in
purchasing. Rings wider then 8mm tend to cover a lot
more circumference of your finger and ring sizes may
fluctuate 1/4 to a 1/2 ring size.
Comfort Fit is the only type of fitting we
offer. All our rings are made with the inside
edges perfectly shaped for maximum comfort fit against
the webbing of your finger and the sides of our rings
are rounded not flat or sharp. The comfort fit helps in
sliding the tightest of fits off of swollen and broken
fingers and may tend to provide a slightly looser fit.
Rest assured our rings will not rock on your
finger, nor will they sit too high where it
could snag or dig into your finger. There have never
been complaints as to how the fit feels. |

| Finger size changes with temperature, age, and different types
of foods. Whether you have been sleeping for 12 hours
without blood circulation to your hands or you have been
swimming a marathon for 12 straight days, Forever Metals does
not recommend the next size smaller or larger for any reason.
Forever Metals recommends multiple sizing techniques and
readings from two or more sources so one jeweler's
interpretations do not mislead your purchase for a snug fit. |
