Forever Metals has manufactured and sold the very finest quality
wedding bands available. Forever Metals uses only those
compositions that make sense and post the compositions for all
to review. Each ring made is one of a kind, and many of our
rings are individually crafted to customer specifications.
The increase of body piercing has brought attention to those
elements that oxidize, cause rashes or irritate the skin.
Forever Metals does not sell inferior quality rings, and this is
backed up with a return policy that allows our customers the
opportunity to see and wear the rings for themselves. There are
no questions asked if you wish to return a wedding band within
the return policy calendar. In addition, Forever Metals offers a
lifetime warranty against breakage, chipping, or fracture of a
stainless steel, titanium, or tungsten carbide ring. Since
scratching is probable in titanium and stainless steel products,
Forever Metals does not warrant the finish or scratching of a
surface. If you’re bored of an engagement ring 2 years or even
50 years down the road, Forever Metals offers an exchange policy
offering a chance to exchange a ring for full value towards the
purchase of a new ring. Please see our exchange policy for
details.
Forever Metals combines traditional precious metals with
tungsten carbide to create a unique piece of jewelry with a
style, polish, and texture that will last a lifetime. We offer
tungsten carbide wedding bands with precious metal inlays of
sterling silver, platinum, yellow, white, gold, and copper. The
tungsten carbide portion of the ring will maintain its original
polish and luster for life, while the softer inlaid precious
metals will eventually develop a textured appearance over time,
creating an attractive contrast against the lasting polish of
the tungsten carbide.
Tungsten Carbide Quality
Forever Metals composition is 84% of tungsten and 16% of carbon
and nickel. Our Tungsten carbide rings are made with superior
nickel-binder alloy instead of being made from pure tungsten or
with the cobalt-binder alloy. Nickel-binder alloys are superior
for several reasons; Nickel-binder tungsten carbide is
hypoallergenic, chemically inert and therefore will not oxidize,
cause rashes, or irritate the skin. We do not use the compound
cobalt as it can have an adverse reaction with the wearer’s
skin, sometimes causing a rash. Cobalt bonds with oils in the
skin resulting in oxidation. The oxidation appears similar to
tarnished silver, but cannot be removed by polishing or
grinding. Nickel, on the other hand, does not bond with oil and
therefore does not oxidize.
Many jewelers offer pure tungsten wedding bands which lack the
hardness of tungsten carbide and can scratch quite easily. Some
offer tungsten rings made with cobalt binder because it is
cheaper to produce than nickel-binder carbide. We caution you
against buying from a jeweler that doesn't specify that their
tungsten wedding bands are made with the nickel binder alloy.
Commercially Pure Titanium Quality
Forever Metals composition uses CP T1 & T2 grade 2 in all of
our gray titanium products. We found it to be the ideal balance
between titanium's hardness and workability. It can be cut off,
refinished, and engraved, yet it is resistant to marring and
polishes well. Forever Metals uses commercially pure titanium
(CP) that has been endorsed world wide.
Aircraft Grade Titanium Quality
Forever Metals does not endorse aircraft grade titanium due to
safety issues and it being an overall hard material to work
with. Aircraft grade titanium has many more inconsistencies
overall when working with a harder substance and aircraft
titanium is not pure so it does not have other advantages as CP
titanium has.
Stainless Steel Quality
Forever Metals composition for our stainless steel rings is
316L: 0Cr14Ni9Mo2. Our stainless steel rings are not made for
their durability or their workability but they are made for
their unique look. The unique look will not hold up as well as
Tungsten Carbide or will not have the light weight to hardness
ratio that titanium has. However, stainless steel does have a
unique look that will last forever. For the cost, stainless
steel ring may be a practical choice. Stainless Steel rings also
offer as a great choice for groomsmen gifts and for graduation
gifts. |
